get amnesia. It sounds like him, but why would he not come back to the house? My cat got out 2 weeks ago and hasn't returned. A cat matching his description has been seen nearby. Can cat?
if he's not fixed then you have a wandering tom on your hands. dont take it personally. its nature.
The same thing happened to my cat a few years ago when my family was living in Italy.
Come to find out, she just had a second home she was going to. She was cheating on us because she was getting spoiled (eating steak and pasta cause they didn't have kitty food) by some neighbours who she apparantly knew because she was so friendly. She felt comfortable going to all of the people in the neighbourhood and getting treats and snacks.
I reccomend posting fliers or asking neighbours to hold onto the kitty they find cause it might just be your kitty who's being taken care of someone who doesn't know he already has a loving family. Cats are so independant they love to wander around the neighbourhood, and just like kids they love to get spoiled. Don't take it personally. Once the little bugger is home (hopefully it's your kitty) he'll be fine.
I do recomend to please fix him if you haven't already!! It may be part of the issue, and it is so much more responsible to do so!My cat got out 2 weeks ago and hasn't returned. A cat matching his description has been seen nearby. Can cat?
Probably not but they can get lost; especially if he's a house cat who isn't use to being outside. He could also be hurt and unable to make his own way home. If it were mine I'd be out scouring the neighborhood night and day until I found him.
he may have found that he likes it outside. There are many reason why he would not come to the house, like a female cat, or he may have gotten lost. Who knowsMy cat got out 2 weeks ago and hasn't returned. A cat matching his description has been seen nearby. Can cat?
Take him into your home. If it is him he is probably scared.
